Changing body type - 06 June 2008 14:55
Hey guys

Quick question-

As a kid, I was big (16st 10) at heaviest. Started losing weight and exercising, and at lowest got down to 8st 7ish....... been training properly for the past 2 years, and am trying to bulk but finding it really hard, as I seem to gain quite easily (I'm currently eating around 1800-2000 cals/day and maintaining, if not gaining).

I'm trying to work out what body type I am, to try to get a decent bulking plan sorted........ think I was an endomorph as a kid, but can you change your body type? I'm just trying to work out which bulking plan to go for, bearing in mind that I have hardly any appetite most of the time, and am trying to work out how much to eat, and what, to gain steadily.

Cheers

trial and error is generally the only way to find out what works best for you

all we can do is give you a helping hand in pointing you towards the right direction as a starting point

I know, and I appreciate any advice given- what would you suggest then? Just boosting cals by 500 and monitoring from there?

I am currently hitting just less than 1g protein/ pound a day, but am confused how to boost intake without weight gain increasing too rapidly.....

Although I've been working out for a couple of years, is the Meal Plan new gain diet a good starting point?
