Around the same size as 389g of pure lard you buy in the shops

a pound of bodyfat isnt the same as a pound of lard because bodyfat contains water and takes around 3500 kcals to produce 1lb of bodyfat whereas 1lb of lard is 4086kcals

Density of fat is around 0.9g/cm3. 1 pound = 454g

Therefore:

1 pound of fat is approx 409cm3

How many lbs of fat is my belly?

too many LOL get cutting

i always seen a pound of fat as a pound of butter

so you could imagine spot reducing a lb of fat directly from your midsection would be pretty impressive

Yeah but if you rubbed a pound of butter all over your midsection it would be a pretty thin layer wouldn't it?
