How to....? - 11 June 2008 15:57
Hi ladies and gents,

I was looking to make my own beef burgers; has anyone got a basic recipe/method for doing this? Is it just plain mince, or does it have egg, etc in for the binding? I will make variations on the theme once I have the basics down.

Thanks in advance,

MT

I just take the mince out of the packet, shape it into burgers and slap em on the george foreman for 10 mins

Basic but it works!

Do you mean mix an egg with the mince to bind it or cook an egg on the burger?

I dont find you acyually need an egg to bind the meat, ive tried both ways but i didnt find it any easier.
If thats not what you mean why not poach an egg and put it in the burger seperate to the beef
