New to cardio

As said in the title, Im pretty new to cardio. Ive been cutting now for more than 4 months by manipulating diet cos i wanted to wait to use cardio when i plateau'd and its worked well. The thing is i normally do a manual job (building) and now theres not a lot of work about i find myself sat about alot. Now that im burning less calories i think in better start using cardio to lose the last 5lbs or so. I wanna use both SSCV and HIIT, does it matter which you use on what days? for example, is it better to use SSCV on your non training days to allow better recovery from the previous days weights? or better to use SSCV fasted first thing in the morning or PWO? I train Tues/Thurs/Sat Im 185lbs @ 12% BF Thanks in advance BTW, i plan to use cardio in my bulks in the future
