I feel like breaking something
-
11 June 2008 22:36
Today has been one slap in the face after another. Hand in my notice at work as i have been offered a new job, get told not to work my notice and leave immediately. 1 hour later; phonecall from new job saying they have withdrawn their offer of employment due to adverse credit rating (without going into detail, 100% not my fault, shouldn't even be on the credit rating). As if that isn't enough, a few hours later i find out the girl i am seeing has a boyfriend. And then to top the day off, my best mate cancels this evenings activity Thanks for listening

Oh ffs thats a sh!tty day Can't you have a word with your old job and say you've had a change of mind?

Surely they'll be happier to take you back. Managing a sales team myself, I know how stupidly expensive it is to employ and train someone up

Yes, the offer was only condtiional so they can do that. But i had to hand my notice in at the first job today as the second job started in a week. Which leaves no time to sort the fault on the credit rating, as it takes time to withdraw it. And the new job said i have to do the whole application process again now- which involves 3 interviews and takes about 2-3 months SO no i dont have a job atall, not to mention a girl I feel like an idiot for posting this on here aswell, but needed to get it out

The first job was as a console repair technician mate, for a employment agecny. The new job was for the royal bank of scotland ORIGINAL: Papa Lazarou Surely they'll be happier to take you back. Managing a sales team myself, I know how stupidly expensive it is to employ and train someone up

are you reliant on income or have you got a little saved to tide you over until you source a new role? if you'll struggle that's exceptionally unlucky and unfortunate i've handed my notice in, and have 2 weeks notice left to see through, hopefully mine doesn't fall through as i'd be fooked. as for the women thing, when will people learn. women are generally HORRID! i'm friends with a lot of people and the amount of people i've seen screwed over by women or hearing and even seeing women doing the dirty is ridiculous! they've taken over in the screwing over department!
