You dont here much except for the basic lifts.

Would a set of 10 FULL reps with 315# be considered respectable?

what would be considered respectable then? My best guess a max of about 405 could be done if your doing 315 for 10 reps. There is no way your gonna incline more than you can flat press. I ve seen big benchers who cant incline much.

my current bench is probably more around 540 now. I dont use any suits, i dont believe in them as they give more help than your natural ability.

so lets assume i bench 530, what should my incline be around in your best guess?

How do you figure?

You know the most common question asked in the gym is how much can you bench press?

Well you never hear any talk about how much can you do on incline press?

So its simple, would a 405# max on incline bench be considered respectable on this lift?

It wasnt meant to be a hard question for people to answer LOL

I feel this to be a good feat and im guessing 90% of lifters out there could not accomplish this.

Nothing. No-one other than you even considers it. None of the powerlifters I know even bother to do it, and if they did, they wouldn't do sets on ten, plus the angle of the incline can vary from bench to bench, so unless we are in the same gym on the same bench comparisons are impossible. 540 as a flat single is excellent though

Yes a 405 Pound Incline Bench is very Respectable, especially if it about 45 Degrees or higher, and a lot of big benchers are also big Incline pressers.

Your raw 540 Pound Bench is very IMPRESSIVE, and I would reckon you should be good for at least 450-460 Pound Incline Bench with your Flat Bench Press being so high.

I benched 450 and could Incline 385 on only my third attempt doing it, at about 205 Pounds bodyweight.

Incline is very important in strongman, and powerlifting, there is a carryover to Bench, and Overherad Press.

What bodyweight are you, and are you a powerlifter, strongman, or bodybuilder.

Again a 405 Pound Incline is very good, and 99% of people here could not do it, so well done.

It is a strange question coming from a guy that can bench in excess of 230kg. You already must know how you stand in both flat and incline pressing.

I'd rather see vids of lifts than 'fishing'

Squats and deadlifts are for girls and Brummies with matchsticks where legs should be. Legs are a means of transportation. Everyone knows the true measure of a man is what he can bench.

Actually I quite like the sound of that - OHP instead of bloody squats. You squat when you s***, ffs! Useless for anything else.

Benching represents throwing a woman off you becuase you eat to much cock and can't stand her beign there

I must remember to let Andy B know at the brits that he shouldn't be squatting or deadlifting, what the **** have legs hips and back got to do with power after all compared to old man bee stings and a wanting of other men to watch you on the ego bench in the gym

The only form of incline bench I do is close grip. I very rarely do bench press now.

If its respectable to you and you are happy, does it matter?

No. If one is the man, it should be confirmed and acknowledged in public by all. What pleasure can be gained from silent satisfaction in one's own achievements?
