Ive noticed kids these days are very tall,Its like its rare to find one under 5'11.Do you think this is due to growth hormones injected into the animals we eat? There is no other logical reason for all these giant kids.Opinions please.

Its unusual,Because even kids with short parents now are over 6 foot,Strange.I think it it def something with the food.

Over the centuries people are getting taller in general.

If you go to some of the old national trust houses and look at the length of the beds they are tiny.

Mate most kids round my way are huge.

Not just tall but big aswell, its got be hormones in the food. Scary stuff though, just gives me the motivation to eat like a pig when I see a 12 year old whos taller than me.

mainly big built, size 14 shoes at that age etc. just used to smash people around on the rugby pitch

not really grown much in terms of height since then though

I agree,Its def the food,I mean im 4`11 which is a decent height but these kids today are freaking goliaths!

Ouch you need to dedicate much more time to bodybuilding then mate.

Bloomin ell tuc, you were a giant child.

There is plenty of small ones about too.

Ive grown 1 inch, to the colosal height of 5`7 since i was about 13, now 18.

Most of the people in my school were the same height though.

Its not nice though, when a lot of 12 year olds are taller than me

Totally agree, its due to hormones and steroids being injected into the feed of chickens, cows, sheep etc. The only meat that is unaffected by steroids and hormones is fish, unless its from a fish farm, but even with fish theres high concentrations of mercury due to pollutionin the seas and oceans.

It should take 6-8 months for a baby chicken to reach full maturity, now it takes only 14-28 days, thanks to the chemical revolution.. When chickens are processed and slaughtered the steroids and hormones arent removed and so are ingested by us.

could explain the cocky attitude of most of them!

I bet you did, even at my weight I used to run rings round the other kids!

I have size 12/13 feet which isn't too bad as I can still find shoes ok.

So are you still really big built? I'm slim and weigh 16st, been over 18st before but I was carrying a bit of fat bit didn't show it with my height.
