I doubt 20% is the figure, more like 5%

It's better known for antioxidant properties and fighting cancer and stuff but it does something to your metabolism too..

I think if you drink it around a meal, it makes you digest slower, this means you burn more calories whilst digesting. And it increases your BMR but the amount isn't known as it probably varies a lot depending on weight, genes etc. And for you to have any of these effects you have to have 4+ cups a day.

green tea is nice alternative to coffee and is quite refreshing.

Sorry mate, I was confusing you. Actually catechin is also a thermogenic agent and has been researched.

Dulloo, et al in 1999 did a great study
