im being a best man this weekend. the stag do has been and gone, quite successfully i think, the speech is still to come and is written and im fairly confident i know it...just think nerves may get the better of me!
we are all staying at a hotel afterwards and 1 of our 'friends' is planning on trying to sneak into his gfs room which her and her sister have paid for. he has had plenty of time to book a room and hasnt bothered because he is too tight to pay for the room himself(its only £35 and he isnt poor). he is well known for being a tight arse and the bride and groom are rightly peeved about this. as best man they have told me to make sure he either pays for a room, or is evicted when the bar shuts to anyone that isnt a guest(the bar will stay open to guests.). how do i handle this part...im not worried about upsetting him as its the brides day and her and my best mate are all im bothered about for this day, and i know i could very easily remove him from the hotel myself, so do i just tell him in an abrupt way or try and be nice about it?
