fighting lard hard Alri Restore & Cissus Drol. - 13 June 2008 00:01
2 years on, dropped in weight and measurments. didn't reach my goal due to frustration and inexperience along with 8 months out of training (a couple of surgeries)
this time i am determined to make it happen, and fight those genes that were mostly passed to my belly and chest areas.
surgery sounds very attractive but i don't want to be in such a bad way that id have to stay out of the gym again for long
currently my weekly plan is as follows, diet will be posted some time soon to get some abuse from you guys. i usually stay around the 2000 cals a day.. cleans ones too.. i think
i dropped my cardio recently since i added boxing to my routine and usually a 30 mins fast walk to the gym and back.
oh, and i smoke.. but not much.. not a drinker either
monday weights
tues weights
wed krav maga
thurs weights
friday weights
sat boxing
sun rest (usually an hour stroll to town and back)
I do sets of 4 mostly of 15 reps since i am tryin to get my shoulder back on track.. once i am perked up more.. i will go back to a mix of heavy and light sets with variation of intensity.

Cheerz RHF,
you're an inspiration! its takin me so far a year and half.. couldn't tell you exactly how much i weigted back then as i flipped the scale back to the zero.. but i would say.. 19/19.5 stones. i am 13.10 now.. been frustrating due to injuries, illness. back on track now.. added boxing into my training to help with cardio. was the best thing i ever done!

You must look back at those photos of when you were so much bigger and think, how did I let myself get so big!! (I know I do!).

I was always tired and knackered but then looking back with hindsight, I was basically carrying the equivalent of a very slim woman on my back 24hrs a day, no wonder I was bloody knackered!

Keep up the good work, you've broken the back of it now - now's the time for some fine tuning ey

great progress mate, good idea using boxing as cardio for some fun. My mate is a boxer and his training is cruel sir, fair play to you, I will keep popping into see your progress.

Re: RE: fighting lard hard - 15 August 2008 20:06
i've done it! got some lipo while i was away on my holidays.. outta shape though as today was my first day in the gym for a month or so.. but i am back on track.. getting that fat off my chest and love handles is goin to give me an extra boost! and help out with the frustration of feelin my six pack under the fat that refused to go anywhere, i am afraid that a tuck is next as losing all that weight left considerable amount of saggin skin, just dreading stayin out of the gym for long.
