Good bodybuilding books - 13 June 2008 12:01
Hey guys I've been trauling the internet for a while looking for BB books and as you all probably know there are loads of books out there but trying to find the good one's is the hard part.Do any of you know any good BB books and nutrition books?Even one's that are a bit more technical would maybe be a shout as well.

No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable. Socrates, 400bc

I bought a Mens Health one for a fiver in bargin books, big muscle book or something, it is a huge hard back copy. Its good for showing all the excercises for each muscle group using different equipment i.e. Cables (which is nice to mix it up), DB and BB. Gives alot of diet info and different training mumbo jumbo of slow and fast twitch muscles, it kinda lost me a bit.

Its good for a reference if u wanna mix up your routine but again its nothing you cant get on here or other sites.

I wouldnt mind a read at HHH's (wrestler) book.

I know what you mean coz I've learned quite allot from here but sometimes I just think havin a bit of science behind wot I'm reading would be decent. To be honest I think its more a nutrition book that I'm needing.I got Arnold's Encyclopedia... and I like it but I'm looking to get a bit more knowledge.Mainly I'd like to find out more about training through whole body workouts coz I've been hearing allot lately about un-assisted trainers should only be training once or twice a week as its detramental coz ur body can't really heal itself quick enough or build itself back up.But I do enjoy my 5 day splits. So it'd be good extend my knowledge.

I like and would recommend, Strength Training Anatomy by Frederic Delavier. Not a BB or nutrition book to say, more like an exercise guide with some usefull tips.
