Vodka and diet coke - 13 June 2008 13:29
Am I right in thinking this is one of the lowest calorie alchoholic drinks you can get?

I'm out with my mates tomorrow so think I'll stick to this.

Can anyone tell me the calories in this drink and what larger contains?

Oh so I don't have to stick to vodka. Whisky ect have the same amount of cals? Didn't know that.

I think most spirits are around 50 cals a pop.
This does not apply to Baileys of course

Empty stomach + Strong sprits = Drunk on very little calories, cheaper too

gin with low cal tonic water is seriously low in cals, refreshing too

Yes but 8 pints is like a days worth of calories or something daft.

Yeah, but our social life has gone crazy this summer. People's birthdays, weddings, stag do's..... allover the place.

So this is a long term plan, not just this saturday night.

vodka & slim line tonic 54 cals + slice of lime delicious (this is my personal fav)
Barcardi & diet coke 55 cals
Voda & cdiet coke 55 cals

If you want to go down the cocktail route Mojitos are 160 cals, but u could have 3 V&T's for that but shot for shot they work out the same xx

Or a more feasible option of doing eye shots. Hurts though.

Same retreat in Thailand in the soy milk arguement agrees with this

Wine with a meal actually helps aid digestion as it makes your body and internal organs relaxed x
