they played well against holland and romania were horrific against a poor france.
italy could have easily beaten holland... first goal was offside, the second was a clearance off the line and a great counter attack and the third was a great save from a free kick which lead to another great counter attack and goal... del piero came close twice.
romania don't have the ability or players to score goals like that

If they play a second striker they have a good chance of winning. This could mean Del Piero starting, giving them more ability and variety on set-pieces too.

my apologies, i thought they were playing france today! Yeah id say they will take romania by a narrow margin or else a draw I see romania as well organised at the back but very limited up front

The Italy vs Holland game was the best I've seen of the tournament. Both sides played very well but I felt the score was fair enough, Holland were just outstanding on the counter
I vaguely support Italy due to my other half being Italian. I'm not really a betting man though, especially not on football lol

never been a supporter of the keeper being captain.
romania also have marica missing... which is a big loss for them as one of their better players
i expect cassano to start alongside del piero... will be a good partnership up front as they showed towards the end in the holland game

i expect cassano to start
IMO cassano is one of their best players. If he plays I think Italy will win if he doesn't I think 0-0 is a likely result.
