H & B creatine mono powder review - 13 June 2008 17:36
Ive been taking a heaped teaspoon (around 5g) creatine mono powder a day, for about 12 days now and i have to say it i feel its helping me lift more and feel more connfortable when using heavy weights. For example today i had my leg workout last week i managed to squat 110kg for 10 reps, today i squated 120kg for 6 reps im well chuffed now

Im pretty sure the main reason for this is the creatine mono, i have my chest and tricep day on sunday so i will report back to see how much i improve if any, thanks for you time.

I have tried CEE caps in the past with little to no effect but this mono seems to be workign nicely im over the moon atm

this stuff made me gip I found it really hard to swallow as it didnt mix very well. I guess its the same for all mono powders though, not just this one.

Indeed. I wondered why one would need to review it because it is, as you say, just creatine.

That's a perfectly normal price for an odd amount (500g normally) so god only knows what their 'normal' price is (as they have sales all the bleeding time).

Its not really that bad i either put it in my shake or i mix it in with water and some dilute, put extra dilute in so you dont taste the creatine, it doesnt taste bad anyway.

Well some stilll seem to think brand has a big diff or some diff when it doesnt when it comes to creatine, some dont realise that, and some may not even think about getting from H&B casue they think its not as good as other brands, but 510g for £9.99 is hard to beat, infact i dont think it can be beaten.

You are, as many do, confusing a loading type product (celltech is one) with a pure monohydrate. Creatine is so cheap to make and sell that it have to be mixed with salt or sand to get it cheaper.

RE: H & B creatine mono powder review - 14 June 2008 17:25
I tried it for about 2-3 weeks. Ive only ever bought creatine from H&B, used to mix it with dextrose to swallow and to be fair it isnt that bad. With regards to performance i think it did help, muscles didnt fatigue as quick and could squeeze out one or two more reps.. but the bloated stomach and nausea i got for it was enough for me to stop.

Maybe my body just dont agree with creatine in general good its working for ya mate.

myprotein.co.uk 500g of creatine mono is £7.16 so that would be cheaper, but only your buying other stuff as well coz you'd obv have to pay for delivary

The only side effect to taking creatine is that its makes you feel really thirsty, but i drink loads of water now so its not a problem, as for bloating etc i dont get that anyway.

Yeah micronised would be easier etc to dissolve i would imagine.
