opinions on my new 3 day split please

18 June 2008 23:37
hi guys, my current routine is a 2 day split, which leaves me often still tired from the last workout, here it is: workout 1 deads, rows, bicep work, grip work rest workout 2 squat, bench, shoulder and tri work rest back to workout 1 etc generally 4 x 6 - 8 im thinking of this, basically a 3 day split with deads, squat and bench being the focal point of each workout and giving myself more recovery time as i often feel smoked (deads, squats then deads again soemtimes within 5 or 6 days!!) anyway heres my new plan, i like to keep it simple, lift heavy, eat lots and get lots of sleep workout 1 squats 5 x 5 shoulder press 4 x 6- 8 grip work rest workout 2 bench 5 x 5 tricep work 4 x 6- 8 rest workout 3 deadlift 5 x 3-5 row 5 x 5 bicep work 3/4 x 6-8\ rest back to wqorkout 1 opinions? my goals have always been to gain size and strength i just feel on my current split my back especially mis still knackered from the previous workout. thanks in advance

looks pretty good mate.. u could also maybe go, squat, bench, row deads, overhead press, chins front squats, power cleans, dips just an idea but covers the main lifts and also some decent power work in there too!! obviously depending on the rep and set range

ORIGINAL: dwnsf22 I'm not a workout buff myself but my brother works at Bally's total fitness, i just got a membership to meet new women (shame on me!) But he refers a lot of his clients to his website, I've tried the program out myself and must say I was immediately impressed with the amount of energy I felt after doing the routine the first week: http://muzikheadz.nononsense.**** fckn spamass!
