Hello, and advice please...?
-
19 June 2008 15:56
Hi everyone. I've been doing some home based free weights for a few weeks, and I have come accross a bit of a problem. My left (weaker) arm bicep has a better shape and definition than my stronger right bicep. I mean that it has a visible 'bumb' whilst tensed, with a gap between my muscle and my elbow (if you follow me?!). My right arm, whilst of a very similar size just doesn't seem as, well, good! Is this because my left arm has gone from doing naff all to matching my right, and so has progressed much better? Should I cut the weight on my left? Up it on the right? More reps, less reps?! I've been doing 2x15 reps of hammer curls and concentrated curls 2-3 times a week. My diet is good, and I have Promax protein shakes after workout, and the morning after. T Thanks for your time chaps, and for any wisdom you may grace me with! Monders

*phew* Cheers lads. My Mrs was saying I'd end up like that dude with the withered arm out of scary movie (It's my strong arm!) and a lad at work said I remind him of Hell Boy Thanks again, I can sleep easy now.

had a similar problem when i started about 6yrs ago..... One exercise you should incorporate are chin ups. 4 sets, 1normal, 1narrow, 1normal, 1narrow, it does not matter if you can only do 1 rep, using your bodyweight is essential... good luck
