3 month transformation, Overweight at start, Muay thai camp for 3 month - 21 June 2008 12:20
Ok guys im leaving for a muay thai camp in thailand next month and currently have let myself go. Ive a belly and teeny weeny tits probably bigger than a ballerina. Think im at 13.5 stone 5 foot 11. What im wondering is! Firstly, do you think in 3 months its possible to go from being overweight to almost being ripped? Then secondly does anyone know of any progress diarys out there that might show me what is possible in 3 month without steroids? I also have almost a month till I get there so im just doing lots of pressups, jogging, skipping, cycling and situps. Anyone got any advice, info? Im also considering clenbuterol but on reading about it, it sounds like it may effect your heart in a bad way.

thanks

Did you see any of the pics from the Shape Up competition? Well that was over a 12 week period and some of the cutting results that people had were fantastic, so yes I think you can achieve a lot in 3 months.

Hopefully one or two of the members on here who took part and got great results may see this thread and pass comment

I found the thread as difficult as it was redhotF! lol. Out of the finalists none of them were actually overweight at start so I cant really compare unfortunatly! Theiopener I know I'm not gonna have a problem shifting it but I just really wanna see what can be accomplished in 3 months to get an idea of what I might accomplish myself!

What do you want? Just fat loss? Are you bothered about muscle mass at all?

Both! I want bigger muscles and less fat! Basically the typical boxers build. Probably what everyone wants lol. At the moment im just doing a daily weights routine while eating around 1600 cals a day to lose fat but increase general fitness.

Well you're not going to get a boxers' build in 3 months.

You should be able to lose a fair bit of fat in that time (perhaps 15lbs or so) if you get your diet and cardio sorted. You won't gain any muscle but you will see more results. Building muscle takes time, and you won;t be losing any fat while doing so, as you need to be eating big to gain muscle.

TBH you could cut (i.e. lose fat) for 12 weeks and still be heavier than any of the boxers i saw when i was in Thailand. It's more of a fitness than a strength sport, IMO. Well that was my opinion, having only lasted 2 rounds of Muay Thai before being so tired i could hardly stand up......

sounds like your doing plenty of excercise, try and get in an hour per day if you can, and watch your daily calory intake and you should do fine

any more specific questions about diet feel free to ask
