Unprovoked attack on thursday
-
21 June 2008 15:37
A lad who has been after me for over 2.5 yrs since high school finally saw me outside the mall and cinema in broad daylight when he was in his car. He started swearing and shouting out of his window, so naturally i turned round to see what was going on. He then pulled over, because i 'looked at him' ran over to me, punched me about 7 times in the temple, eye, face and head, with a ring on and as he does MMA, is a semi pro boxer, and is also bigger than me he won easily, although i managed to hit him back twice. It appalled me that people including my best mate were standing around watching and not helping me when i was getting smashed around, and even the mall security didnt come and help me (i was outside the mall, just outside the only place in the whole mall which was open at that time which was the cinema, so i would have thought security would be patrolling that area). He then drove off saying 'thats what u get when u fcuk with a semi pro boxer' i was so mad at my friend, in my concussed state i grabbed him, and then got punched 2 more time in the head by this girl who thought i was gunna hit him I would have thought the community police who came afterwards would have radioed the police, and they could have stopped the car down the road, after tracking it on the citys cctv, but instead they had a go at me for swearing. Went to A&E to get checked out and there is no long term damage so i guess im alright, but it worried me that i will be seeing this lad later next month as im going to the same event as him.

Sorry to hear mate. Sounds like talking to this guy is out of the question and sounds like it won't help. I would just keep my head down or train harder and maybe start some boxing training and get even. It is a dog eat dog world I am afraid, just make sure your bite is nastier than his.

Whats he after you for in the first place? Dont know if many people will agree with this, but if someone who is obviously going to tw@t me easily anytime he sees me, i would fight dirty, not many people will go without flitching if you give them a swift toe bunt to the nads. Use strength to your advantage, your not going to beat him toe to toe, he always going to nock you around, i`d try to get close and hold him so his punches wont have any force, and rag him about a bit. Kick him in the shins as hard as you can, just anything thats going to let you either get away, or land a few good blows. Crap position to be in though, and you can be pretty much certain its over something pathetic.

With someone intervening its all about Fight or Flight, even they will freeze and watch or intervene. I remember at school my mate was been tracked down by this lad, the lad ran up and smashes him in the face whilst me and other lads just watched

Is is not against the Fed[licence] rules for pro boxing or amature boxing to use your skills outside the ring?? If so he should be reported and lose his licence

because he loves to fight, especially infront of girls to prove he is the big man. Any excuse for a fight and he will do it, against anyone, and uses the race card alot aswell. I fell out with him in high school over one of his mates, and had a fight with him around 2.5 years ago..since then he has seen me whilst im driving and opened my door and tried to pull me out, but i carried on driving. He was so quick, i couldnt have fought dirty..i only managed to land one good punch, the other 2 kind of skimmed him. He is the type to stab someone, and he has also bottled someone over nothing before.

That is one bad day you had there mate. Hope you are feeling better. Have you gone to the police yet? I would if i were you, even if they dont do anything this time, if he does it again they will be aware that he has done it in the past. That way they can come down harder on him, its a shame i know, but thats the way the system works. Was the attack really unprovoked? A three year grudge must have come from some event? Either that or hes just one of those types that enjoys beating on those weaker than himself, ive known a few in my time.
