Does anybody else get random abuse shouted at them? - 21 June 2008 16:00
Mainly on a friday night walking home from the pub. Last night, a car went past and a bunch of lads shouted obscenities at me and my mates

Only ever happens from a car of course never in person.

Always seems to be a Friday night too - society of today, I dunno.

Rarely. I was once walking to college and some knobber shot a pellet from his van at me. Wish I got the plate number. I did, however shout "you ****ing ****", but he didn't pull over.

Mattastic, how does this abuse affect you mentally?

Do you take it to heart and dwell on it?

Does it affect your self esteem?

No not really. Did have someone walk up to me and scream in my face when on my way home from work in Warrington but thats it.

I tend to blend in.

I remember walking to a shop in a pair of sandals a few months ago. Some bloke roared "GOOD MORNING MOSES" from the passenger seat of a passing car that went flying past. They must have felt like proper likely lads after that one. I bet himself and his mate were in stitches. They probably still tell the story! idiots!

I don`t that much but one of the funniest things I`ve seen was when me and my Lass were walking through the Village, there was a Gay couple in front of us minding their own business when a car load of Sh1tbags drove passed( 5 up), slowed down and started shouting abuse, about 10 yards down the road (which the Sh1tbags didn`t realise) the traffic had come to a halt .
I bet they didn`t tell their mates they were dragged out of their car and leathered by a couple of 10 stone`faggots` F*CKIN PRICELESS

I was walking back from a Celtic game when a couple of Rangers fans drove past shouting abuse at me and about 30 other random fans. As they came up close they drove through a massive puddle soaking many of us! As with the above, the red light ahead proved to be their downfall. The driver was pulled out and kicked up and down the street his two passengers didn't even get out of the car.
