What does Amir Khan use to measure bodyfat? - 21 June 2008 22:55
Just seen him on TV, he mentioned he is down to 1.5% bodyfat now and I remember Mcguigan (sp) calling him 4% at the last fight (that i watched). What do they use to measure these slightly suspicious figures?
I have a journal, but don't look at it, it's shy

Just from looking at him there's no way he's 1.5%. I'd say he's more 6 to 8%.

yeah i agree as a boxer you need a bit of fat on your (only a little of coourse) your heart needs a bit of fat on 1.5 to fuction, he'd be a lot me cut up, he'd have no energy, who ever tested him must of been high ha. 6-8% sounds about right.

He is fairly smooth, I would guess at 8-10% but I am no expert. I am curious if he is just persuaded to make up a more fantastical figure each fight or he genuinely believes it?

1.5% bodyfat is a ridiculous estimate. I'd guess at least -0.5%, if not less.

i was reading that insulin makes you hold fat inside around your internal organs when used as a supplement in BBing although it is not healthy at all. So visually you could have very very low bf.

Even the super shredded guys on stage probably only reach 3%, now they wouldnt be able to throw many punches
