Quick question, Cutting Calories
-
22 June 2008 23:13
Hi all I know this is the best place to ask Right, I am trying to sort out a diet, I really want to get organised as I am not seeing much results from the last 6 months, and I do plenty of exercise so can only blame my diet. Right, I was basically told to cut calories I should first find my BMR so I have done this and my BMR is 1808 calories.. I have done the equation for my maintenance and it works out to be 2802.4 calories. So my question is, how exactly would you reduce calories and by how much? I have a diet planned, which I need to work out the calories for, but ho many calories roughly should I eat each day for senseible weight loss? Thanks Mark
My Stats Age 21 Height: 5ft 5 (short ass) Weight: 12 stone Goals, 1. Lose body fat 3. Look good in swimming trunks :) 3. Get 3rd Dan in Taekwon-do (yeah, yeah I know TKD sucks etc ...)

Lose carbs for cals over protein. Carbs will make you hold 2.5g of water for every 1g of carbs you eat. Less water, less weight.
" Human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives" William James (1842 - 1910)
