possible gyno rebound advise please
-
23 June 2008 13:41
Hi Guys I ran a course of hdrol for a few weeks a couple months ago and had to stop after 3 weeks due to getting gyno (obviously very gyno prone). It produced 2 small lumps under my right nipple so came off started the nolva and switched to a 4 week course of epidrol. After completing pct the lumps stayed at about the size of the pea. I did not really worry about this but now when i feel one of the lumps it feels like it has gotten a bit bigger and am getting paranoid when i look in the mirror. I dont know whether i am getting paranoid or not but is it possible for a rebound effect to take place after pct on epi and for the lumps to get bigger? i would say that my nipple is hurting and feels tender however i have been squezing and pinching it so much over the past couple of days it is probably just bruised lol. I dont really want to start nolva again as i get spots on my shoulders from it but what do you guys think i should do? Thanks Chris

Firstly, I've read that just by examining the are and poking and prodding you can in fact induce gyno yourself. So to that end I would say leave your nipples alone (you pervert!). It is also strange noting you got gyno from hdrol, that's one steroid I've not heard about it from so yea I think you are very susceptible to gyno. I'm not sure what other people would recommend but I would consider getting something like Toremifine (I think that's its name). I've read it's pretty good at getting rid of gyno in the early stages. Make sure you double check this as I'm recalling it from memory and could be wrong.

Letro may be a decent option for you mate. And for f*ck's sake, leave it alone and stop playing with it

As said letro is an option along with Nolva or if you want to try it Raloxifene. Thing is Letro is a very harsh med and will mess with your lipids and give you dry joints and kill your sex drive You can use it for 4 weeks along with 8 weeks of Nolva to prevent oestrogen rebound gyno. I would also recommend getting your blood work seen to before you stop popping more pills

ive have asked my source about letro before but he finds it very difficult to get hold of it unfortunatly. If i go back on nolva at 20mg a day do you think that will help stop it as i really dont want more acne really. also would i be able to go to my gp and get my bloods done or will he start to question what im up to? ta

go to your GP and say youre starting a new course of exercise and fitness and you would like a check up with blood work as for not being able to source Letro, find a new source

Eddie - can you forward me that info mate. I want to try and get some blood work from the docs prior to a new cycle and I'm wondering what excuse to come up with that will enable me to get test & lipid levels checked on the NHS. What I planned was saying I felt lethargic all the time, felt very weak in the gym and had very low libido but if there's another way in please tell. Cheers

ill post it up if you like Monkcheese How i got my hormone levels checked by my doctor: I went into my doctors surgery and explained to him that i have various problems im having for a while and i was going to take various medications to fix them. The major one was gynecomastia and as such i told him i was going to take a combination of Letrozole, Raloxifene and Cabergoline to try and remedy it as well as also having issues with next to no libido for close to a full year. Once he heard what i was planning he sent me in for hormone analysis to check out what may have been causing my gyno and to also see if its still an active cause to it. He wrote me out a blood test info sheet to test for Estradiol, Total testosterone and Prolactin. I went to the hospital, handed in my form and they took the blood work and it came back within 72 hours complete with liver values, lipids and cholesterol stats. Docs want to charge me a tenner for a copy of the bloodwork but i wrote it all down to avoid the charge Also symptoms of low test are on Page 5 of THIS pdf, along with baseline levels for most age groups

Wilki_C, just out of interest mate, what dose of H-drol did you run which caused the gyno ?? Also what sort of size are you ? (Only asking because I'm considering a H-drol cycle myself and was thinking of it cos of the low sides, was wondering whether you'd run a higher than average cycle or anything along those lines ?)
