AM lifting fuel - 23 June 2008 23:11
I am trying to shed some (well a lot actually!) excess bodyfat over the coming months. I've just left uni and started work about 6 miles away so on some days I will be cycling to and from work and other days cycle first thing in the morning for fasted cardio. The problem comes when I come to fuel my lifting workouts. The rest of my family are up long before I need to be and with the sun coming in so bright these days I often wake up at 6ish which is a perfect time slot for me to workout. Could anyone give me any pointer on what to get down my throat before lifting? My normal breakfast consists of oats, whey and a spoon of coffee blended with some milk, would this be ideal to fuel my weight workouts?

Cheers,
Irie
