The doses shown to be toxic and cancer giving were doses equivelant of about 30 cans a day. Impossible IMO for most people. Just hysteria over nothing.

You know...I had a full response ready to roll... However, Im not here for topical debate. Im just reporting the findings of what Ive uncovered from months and months of full time research. Ranging from the net, conferances/seminars and a lot of intensive reading.... Suffice to say its a personal choice and Im quite surprised that even though Ive supplied the links, theyve gone ignored.....Im pretty sure that if I posted a link re: a potetial fake batch of test, or potentially contaminated batch of decca this post would be wayyy up there....its interesting to note that the FDA wouldnt let this go through for no less that 16yrs, untill Regan came in, fired the board and Rumfeld put his own clowns into position! For those that are interested, there is a lot of information available...including how aspartame interacts with MSG Here's a break down on it for those who care. http://www.newswithviews.com/NWVexclusive/exclusive15.htm

You are on a forum, people will disagree. We are not here to just simply agree with you. I do not. Your biased sources proove nothing.

hmmmm, I used to drink a lot of the stuff. I guess that's not advisable. Still though, they're one of the few pleasures you can have if you are on a really strict cut....

Everything causes cancer :) I use splenda (sucralose) instead of aspartame or saccharine based sweeteners (for coffee/tea/my oatmeal). However, I'm sure there are "adverse" effects associated with all of them.

Suffice to say its a personal choice and Im quite surprised that even though Ive supplied the links, theyve gone ignored Just because no one has replied does it mean they've ignored the links. Maybe they've not replied because this is old news and has been debated many times before.
