enough work? - 24 June 2008 14:49
im 18, and like to focus on the basic movements, do you think this is enough work, i take eahc set to positive failure doing 2 sets of 4-8 reps for each exercise, (when i can get 8 reps i up the weight) on tue/thur/sat i do 15 min HIT cardio (15 mins as hard as i can not intervals, but beating the previous calories burned each session)

monday:back/biceps
deads
pullups
rows
T bar rows
barbell curls

wednesday:chest/shoulders/tris
bench
incline db
dips
military
skullcrushers

friday:legs
squats
45 leg press
lunges
stiff legged deads
standing calf raises

so for small muscles its just 2 sets per week is this enough as long as im progressing?

I would say it was all good mate.... possibly take it to 3x8 on the first movement of each day if it doesn't feel enough, give it a go and see how you feel.
