Been reading about milk thistle which lots of steroid users seem to use for liver protection. If this stuff is so good for your liver, should you take it when you don't use gear anyway?

Unless you like a drink or are doing an oral cycle i don't think it's necessary.

Think it is this "Milchdistel" in german, not sure if you get generic brand names though.

Iv never ran Liv.52 before, always stuck to Milk thislte, 1000mg+ ed, might give Liv 52. ago next cycle. What dose do you run the Liv.52 at mate? Also, does the amout you have to take become expensive?

i buy the DS or Double Strength tablets and take 3 per day when im on a cycle that has orals included. Normal injectable cycles i simply take 1 per day to cover it. Liv52's great for nights out on the piss too

Charles Poliquin (a famous trainer) used to recommend years ago that all his athletes should take Milk Thistle all the time. Then some study came out that should that it reduced testosterone if taken continuously, so he then stopped his athletes taking it. Google milk thistle and poliquin and you should find the story. Very interesting
