need real help with the food side of things plz - 24 June 2008 22:08
hi i have not long started weight training

age 22
weight 22 stone :(
BF% 38.9

i weight train 3 times a week doing
monday chest an bi's
wednesday shoulders and tri's
friday back and legs with 20 - 30 mins skipping everyday

problem is not to sure if i have food side of things goin in my favor this is wot i eat every day
at the mo i am eating 1700 calories a day
i have 1 can of tuna on 2 slices of toast for breakfast
2 chicken breasts with mushrooms onion lettuce an mayo for lunch and 3 boild eggs in the afternoon
i have either steak an veg of fish an veg for dinner

is this any good or do i have it all rong i am thinking of adding in protine shake or 2 also any help will be greatly appreciated

I'm not sure if 1700 cals daily is a bit low to go straight in on at your weight. How long have you been following this plan for, or have you not started yet? If you have already been doing it, have you seen any weight loss so far?

I would perhaps suggest breaking up your eating into 5 or 6 small meals a day rather that 3 or 4.

i bin doin it 4 2 months now i have lost a stone but need to no if this diet is ok 4 building muscle also
