Any ways to get the desired six pack abs!!!
-
25 June 2008 07:22
Hello everybody, I have been watching guys on TV and some my friend have it too…know what…the six pack abs!!! It feels awesome to bear that look and it really gives me the chills to be like them. But, I am not sure whether I can make them or no. I have not consulted my friends about this (cause they always pride themselves about this...and I’m shy to ask). I do have a little weight on but I can manage to cut that down. So, do you people have any options that I can try to make things happen??? Any help will be highly appreciated!!!

Basicly get routine going every week of training. Also a good diet as well. Basicly hard work and training needed also sticking by routine and diet vital.

ORIGINAL: Dronuk I heard one of the best weight loss exercises is rowing? Any truth in that? to be honest....I'm not a big believer in this or that being best for weight loss. the best things for weight loss is probably finding a cardio based activity you enjoy, and doing it as much as you can. if you love rowing but hate running, go for rowing, if you get bored doing SSVC, do HIIT...etc. Rowing is very effective in terms of cals burnt per hr, due to it's use of many of the bodies muscle simultaneously. If you enjoy that, go for it

What i thought the best way to get the 6pac abs was a tub of maximuscle protein, an ab massager and a hundred sit ups a night Just kidding, the best way is to firstly get body fat down, everyone has abdominal muscles which will come through at the right body fat but some people have thicker more separated muscles. Get a good weights routine and a decent diet and the rest is down to time.

You are all wrong!!!! the quickest way to get a 6-pack abs is to use slendertone

ORIGINAL: Daari the quickest way to get a 6-pack abs is to use slendertone Wise words from a wise man On topic- to get a six pack, assuming you are starting from an ectomorph, you need to gain mass, (fat and muscle) then cut off the fat. How you do that is up to you. I recommend HIIT

Just do crunches, leg lifts (knees all the way up to the chest though), side twists on the incline bench and leg raises on the incline bench. I always focus on keeping my shoulders and neck as relaxed as possible and maintaining good form. In my gym they teach the jack of all trades master of none approach showing you loads of different ab exercises using loads of different devices but I think its better just to master a few ab exercises to perfection.

to be honest, i was at 25% BF 1 year ago. Now im 15%, I hardly ever did cardio. I maintained a very steady diet (high in protein, low in carbs) Trained 5 times a day (weight training) for a min of 2 hours. I did train very hard, pushing myself to the edge each session. IN terms of supplements, i was on ON 100 whey at 80g daily for muscle replenishment and recovery. Multivits bcaa etc. In 1 year, my abs were showing for the very 1st time.....ever. I find that weighted crunches help the abs grow quicker...it is a muscle after all and with weight, comes gains in size. Give it a whirl but throw in some cardio here n there.

Cardio wise I've tweaked mine over the last few months and my current regime is producing some fantastic results for me. My regime is: 1000m row before weights 10mins HIIT before weights weights 30mins treadmill/crosstrainer SSCV The high intensity is at the beginning and is quite short, a get in and get out thinking behind it, and the SSCV at the end because you'll have depleted gylycogen levels so it should burn mainly fat.

Six pack abbs are made in the kitchen. Get your diet sorted and run a calorie deficit so you start losing fat. If you are so inclined, start/continue weight lifting and doing cardio. You simply need to lose body fat to show your abbs. Most people will agree that a proper diet is going to be the determining factor in getting (and staying) lean enough to see nice defined abbs.

Seem to remember reading that to get the abs showing like most MH models BF levels need to be down to 10%, but depending on the size of your AB muscles they can be seen around the 15-20% BF levels
