Anybody ever had this odd injury?
-
25 June 2008 11:28
2 sundays ago, I rolled over in bed (first thing in the morning), and felt an odd crack in my sternum. Didn't think anything of it. I trained on the monday with a light session because I'd taken a couple of weeks off of upper body work due to my ongoing shoulder problem, the niggle persisted slightly. The niggle went away, I trained on the friday...and I've been in agony since! It's a weird burning sensation right at my sternum which would be made worse by spreading my arms out wide. Went to see my GP for something unrelated and mentioned this, she said it could be a dislocation of the ribs at my sternum cartilage Anybody else had this?

I do have a physio that I see regularly, but I didn't think it would be worth seeing her over this because of the nature of it, but I think I'll pull my finger out and make an appointment.

I sometimes kinda roll up at night like hugging myself and my shouldrs are near on touching. In a sort of feotal position. Hurts when you move the next morning... I think maybe my dad loved me too much and my mum not enough lol
