Proffesional Help Needed! - 25 June 2008 16:32
Im at the age of 15 now and i would consider my muscular frame above average (bebo users check out my images on http://www.bebo.com/XwhiplashX)

I've got to this build by normall natural training from boxercise and rugby for example push ups, pull ups, sit ups...

recently i started talking to some1 from school about bulking up and their views on it was: " if you dont get a routine that suits you, you will not bulk up "

this shocked me as ive never really thought about a routine ect...

i checked out some programmes and routines that were rated highly and put them in use and the results werent impressive!

from the "HST - (Hypertrophy Specific Training)" workout i must admitt i did get bigger... but not any bigger than i would have if i had just stuck to my normall routine of naturall muscle building with simple weights ect...

i think the key to building muscle in any way is diet... and i think i have mastered that with what i eat and the suppliments i use.

!!!so now my question to you all!!!

aslong as i feel that burn in the morning... that stiffining of the muscles that i think gives me pride in working out... is this a sign of, and are my muscles growing?

i ask this question because i can get this feeling from simple exercises' that i can carry out in my own home without need of a gym and without complications of a routine...

any help would be much appreciated :D!!!

thanks

At 15 I don't think you should be worrying about diet at all really. Supplements should be out of the question, you simply don't need them!

I've added a profile pic to show that i havent got an average 15 year olds body<<<

ok pretend i stated my age as.... 16 or even 18 in my question.

and by suppliments i mean just protein shake no creatine and certainly no steroids for me thanks!

The reason for the use of protein shake is because i play alot of rugby and do not enjoy eating too much high protein foods, the shake gives me an easy suppliment of protein.

If I sleep funny and my neck muscles are sore the next day, does this mean they are growing?

I'm afraid it's 16 and up on this forum mate.

For all sorts or reasons you have to be that age to post here.
