Dynamic stretching (stretch which involves movement) before your workout and possibly a pulse rasier eg slow jog on treadmill for 2-3 mins. Static stretching (holding a stretch in a certain position for around 15 secs+) after workout and a slow jog 2-3mins.

Dynamic stretches:

I do a couple of light sets on the exercise first.

Never had an injury.

Yeah 1 or 2 light sets would also be useful to prevent injury.

dont stretch when cold else you'll snap something which will be very nasty. I usually do a few light sets, then do any stretching.

Light CV
Dynamic Stretches
Mobility / Activation exercises (depends)
Exercise specific warm up

I actually also chuck in a circuit of exercises with just the BB to get the blood flowing more.
