Sorry if this a repeat post, I am looking for Strongman facilities in and around Birmingham. I live in Coleshill and really don't know of any serious strength gyms (or where to look) I am toying with setting up my own facility, but it would be pointless if there are others nearby. I'm not just looking for a hardcore gym, but somewhere that has some equipment too Tyres, Yolks, Farmers, Stones etc..

The Forum in chelmsely wood has strongman stuff its got stones, anvils, tyres, log and the like

If not there then come to the Colasium in Aston, thats where i and several other powerlifters train, maybe can't do the actual strongman stuff be we will sure as hell get you strong

Allright mate, i think your on myspace aswell. If you get a set up going, you wouldnt mind bumping this up?Obv im not far from you, and i know coleshill has got its own train station now.
ps was you the chap that was trying for the super series at the ricoh?? is that likely? i know its a hard choice between madison square and the home of the sky blue army but its worth a try still

Yes I was trying to get the Ricoh, the NEC Arena put forward a better proposition, but a clash of events meant we had to pull our plans. I am still planning either a Super-Series or independent event based in the midlands to get maximum attendees. It will be aimed at a live show rather than slow process for TV.
