dieting - daily meal structure?
-
26 June 2008 22:11
Hi all, i have been asking you for healthy food suggestions on another thread, and getting lots of tips there, now i need to know a little about how best put it all together. I have decided i am going to conectrate on losing fat. I am not a muscular person, but i would say i have a decent basic build, however its invisible under a coat of flab (which if i lived in antartica would be most welcome however, its frowned upon in the uk. lol). i've been looking through the forums and notice people talking about eating every 2-3 hours, but i am not sure if this is for people who want to build up, or if its for everyone. currently i have a terrible diet, i often skip brekkie, have a snack for lunch and an evening meal when i get home from work. My goal is to lose weight - preferably fat, and keep (as much as possible) what little muscle i have. my training is going to be lots of cardio with a little weights to try to keep some muscle (however depending on the advice i get this is changeable) so first question - how many meals would you reccomend a day? 2) what should the meals consist of? i.e what percentage should be carbs? protein, fats etc? 3) any other advice/tips about losing fat welcome thanks James
