Top of the chest - 27 June 2008 11:43
Hi, whats the best ways to build up the top of the chest muscle?

Ive been doing incline barbell and incline dumbbell...is there anything else that is more or just as affective?

Cheers

Dai

time

i've got a 46.5" chest and its only just starting to show the top contours of an 'upper chest', the more mass you have as a base, the more the shape will appear.

Cable flys...thats with a machine right?? unfortunately i train at my home and havnt got any machine stuff.

I do incline flys but i need to know if im doing them right. when holding them up are they meant to be at an angle or straight up in the air? at an angle really works well but i dont know if its right way of doing it.

Many say the way your chest grows is down to your genetics so doesnt matter what chest pressing exercise you do. I go for incline and decline bb, but something else may work for you, poeple seem to reat differently to certain exercise in the ways of growth. As you add mass to your chest, your chest will eventually level out.
