Mass Gainers - 27 June 2008 13:08
I know people say these aren't needed if your diet is up to scratch but for some people they struggle to get all the food down them that they need.

Although i don't need one at the moment, iv noticed a few threads on them and was wondering if you had to choose one which would it be?

Also is boditronics mass attack any good?

I used to always use nlarge by pro-lab. Think its got a load of sugar in though if i remember correctly.

Now I use whey and powdered oats. Much cheaper, and quality source of carbs.

Reflex instant mass for me..everytime...as far as a gainer goes its very clean and made of very good quality ingredients.
Cant stand the taste of most gainers coz they r too sweet 4 me personally but instant mass in rather yummy.
I also find most gainers make me fart n go but instant mass doesnt.

Make your own. It will be cheaper, will use oats as the carb and is easily adjustable.

I tend to make my own with fast and slow proteins and carbs.

I'm currently slurping down 70g of powdered oats, 30g whey, 10g strawberry Nesquik and 400ml of skimmed milk. It's a bloody tasty way of getting 550 kcal down your neck.

I used Mammoth 2500, mass gainers are expensive no point just use whey unless you got extra cash.

Isn't Mammoth just malto & dextrose for carbs?

Its got malto and fructose anyway, its a weight gainer, are mass gainers and weight gainers two diff supplements? I though they were the same.

They're the same but it's a poor carb choice regardless.
