Diet Help Needed - 27 June 2008 13:45
Just joined this forum after browsing it for a few weeks.

I was just wandering if I could have a bit of advice. I've been weight training now for about 2 years and have made quite good progress since then but I seem to have hit a brickwall lately.

I was talking creatine for about 5 months and found that really helped me bulk up but since I have stopped taking it I seem to have gone downhill. I dont really no where to start with regards eating the right things and I also seem to be getting a fat stomach.

Is it possible to get big arms, chest and back without getting fat? I want a ripped stomach but have been told that is not possible when I am wanting to get big arms.

Sorry to ramble on but I could really do with some advice on diets etc. Also thinking of taking a protein shake if anyone can reccomend a decent 1>
?

Cheers

Rich

If you want to maximise muscle growth you are going to put on a bit of fat too.

Post your current stats and diet.

I am 5ft 9 and weigh 12 stone.

My body fat is 15% and I dont really have a specific diet.

I do try to eat lots of pasta and chicken but my typical day would be:-

10am - 2 Slices of toast with Jam

12.30 - Stew and dumplings

4pm - Kitkat

5pm 6.30pm - Gym

8pm - Tuna Sandwich

Really could do with some good advice to help me get bigger muscles.

Cheers

Cheers mate that's just what I was looking for.

Will that diet make me put on loads of fat though?

Also where it say's 8am: Large bowl porridge made with 250ml skimmed milk + 2 tsp sugar
2 slices granary bread toasted + olive oil-based spread
Serving weight gain drink or MRP
200ml orange juice + 1 tbsp flaxseed oil

Does it mean you need to eat all of them things or do you just pick 1?

It means you eat all, but of course this should be adjusted to your own situation.

your current diet is an utter joke, you are eating next to no protein and hardly any calories. You will not gain any muscle on that kind of diet.

Putting stuff like "4pm - Kitkat " will make people think you are taking the p!ss.
