Dunno if anyone's interested but here it is anyway

History I started training in the early 90's after I met this guy who was into weights on a physical education course after I got expelled from school when I was around 15 or 16 lol. Here's some pics I took of myself at age of 17: http://web.archive.org/web/20021106021536/http://venuslocal.f2o.org/pics.html Only one of them has been archived :( Anyway, it all went to hell when I was about 18. I came into some money (compensation of 28 grand) and, for reasons unknown to me, I decided to spend it on street drugs instead of food and steroids. My training went to ****, i OD'd, ended up in a wheelchair and now here I am at 32, a flabby, unhealthy git who eats too much junk food. Goals As I said in my "Asvice"[sic] thread, I went from 18 stone down to 14. I've always been a big lad but I now weigh 15.5 stone so I'm looking to lose some of that flab. My training has been intermittent as I have been plagued with general ill health, the most serious being kidney failure followed promptly by congestive heart failure. I can't do certain exercises, most noteably lat pulldowns and shoulder pressesb due to an old injury to my right shoulder which restricts movement. I have no idea what my BF % is but I'd guess maybe 15% having seen Firest0rm's pics and hearing his estimates. Actually, he measured in at 17%, yeah? I'd like to get down to 13%. I have lots of cardio planned but at the moment I'm so unfit that even 5 mins of low intensity cardio has me panting. I have my sights set on 30 mins. I've started the cycle that Firest0rm recommended in the mentioned aSvice thread, so search for it if you're interested. I'll post some pics when I'm done, too embarressed to now as I carry all my flab around my waist. Laters :)

Cheers guys. Narrative I'll try and keep this log updated. It'll consist mainly of narrative's as I don't train sheduled on/off days in the conventional sense. I train according to how I feel on any given day. Take biceps for example. If I FEEL like training them 14 times one week then only once the next then I'll do that, and that goes for every bodypart, minus legs which I don't train at all due to being in a wheelchair. I have partial paralysis in my legs anyway. Weights wise, I will not be including lbs/kg's used as I'm a weakling due to a peripheral neuropathy which damaged my nerves which resulted in muscle weakness. They do have mass however, and they do respond to training. Out of the supps I mentioned in my aSvice thread, I never actually received the Hyperdrol/MassFX so I'm substituting with CD 3 caps ed for the extra however many weeks I was supposed to run the HD/MFX for. Been on it 3 or 4 days now and noticed a good strength increase [I can't in all honesty attribute this to the CD as I've been out of training for a while and the sudden influx of hard training might have made my strength increase naturally]. My mood is definiteky up which I DO attribute to the CD tho and I've also noticed some changes in my... urm... weiner area lol. I feel as tho today is an on day as I feel good. More later.

Explain... lol I'm intrigued, also how did it happen if you don't mind me asking? I myself fooked up taking supplements, I was running an ECA stack and went a bit mental on the asprin, ended up having a perferated ulcer which burst a hole in my stomach and diaphragm, I had to be resussed twice. I think it's great you're working out still, and doing well so it seems, so keep it up! As for your goal, it sounds like you want to 'recomp' which is the fancy term for building muscle while losing fat, and it's pretty much what I've done all this year. Are you able to do any kind of cardio?

Sordid details here! As for cardio, yeah, I can do some on a rowing machine but my stamina is shot to fook and I can only manage about 5 minutes per session right now. Thanks for your interest and I'm glad you recovered from your (unintended) Aspirin incident. How is Jake?

Narrative My diet has been complete sh|te over the last... forever... but today was a bit better: 7am: Two slices of toast with peanut butter [I never eat breakfast] 9am: An apple 12:30pm: Shepherds pie [I passed up the green veggies. Greens make me wanna puke] 3pm: Another apple 5pm: Jacket potato with cheese and baked beans That's so far. I'll have a couple more snacks before I hit the sack. Maybe more toast and some fruit. Because I live in a home with 29 other people it's hard to eat properly. I basically have to go with whats on the menu for the day. I can order variations on whats being prepared. For example, tonight it was jacket spud and cheese but I ordered beans aswell. This will hopefully be changing tomorrow as I've ordered a load of food for myself from sainsburys. I posted in the Nutrition forum about it earlier. I also did a HIT style workout for bi's and back. I chose 1 exercise for each: dumbell rows and preacher curls. I chose a weight that I could do for 10 reps and did 50, stopping every 15secs or so for 5 or 6 secs. That's all for today. Laters :)
