Newbie advice on where to start needed! - 27 June 2008 18:58
hi guys i was recommended to your forum by a friend and after having a look at it im very impressed with the material it has to offer.
i am 5"9 and About 3 months ago i decided it was time to stop being over weight at 13 stone and lost about 2.5stone over 3 months which i was delighted about.
I have since quit the gym in favour of doing more resistance trainning at home as i dont want to be any lighter. I have bought myself a few diffrent peices of cardio and weights equipment for the house which im looking foward to using.
As im right at the start with all this im hearing diffrent knowledgable people telling me diffrent things and im not sure what to listen to and try but i would like if someone could make a couple of recommendations to me with regards to which supplements to be taking to assisted me in building up my frame and assisting in burning up carbs quicker?
i have looked about at the market but theres so many products to choose from i dont know what would be any good so if anyone could name a couple for me to try i.e a good protein shake and fat burning pill it would be very much appriciated
Thanks
Ray

yes im in the UK.
well it was for personal reasons for quitting the gym i didnt think ud be interested in! i spent 6 months saving up for a subaru, had it 2 weeks and it was stolen from me with my insurance invalidated and had all my gym stuff in it like head phones, membership card and machine key etc so i basicly took the huff with it else id of been happy sticking with the gym but now ive taken a notion to spend a bit of money on my spare room to tranform it
thanks

It threw me as you said you quit as you didn't want to be any lighter??

To be honest at your stage I'd take in nothing other than a Protein powder..any fat burning I'd leave to your cardio work..for Protein Powders take a look in here

if your wanting a personal recommendation I use 90+ by Nutrisport from this guy
