I totally agree.... try building up your fitness first before you start to run. You haven't mentioned any previous sporting activities, so it's difficult to guage, but it sounds as though you've spent a ferw years as a top notch armchair athlete! Your fitness levels willimprove, but take it easy on yourself for the time being. Go find a gym with good instructors and get some advice. Every marathon starts with a silly idea.... don't give up! Have fun Just

Agree with Integra. Walk before you can run. Progression is key. You can start by trying jogging interspersed with brisk walking. As soon as jogging makes you breathless break into a brisk walk (active recovery) then when you feel you have the wind break out into a light jog again. Periods of brisk walking will gradually become smaller as you start to maintain a steady jog as your fitness levels and work capacity improve. Once you get to this stage the natural progression would be to intersperse slow jogging with periods of faster, albeit still steady, paces of running, until they too become sustainable. From here on in the options are endless from steady state to HIIT, GPP work and a range of Circuits , hill sprint sessions etc. Start small and work your way up. Keep your head screwed on and dont let your ego take over. The road to total fitness and good boxing skill and conditioning is a long one, but a worthwhile one trust me. Best of luck mate and most of all enjoy it.

Yeah basically its low testoserone, coupled with a bipolic dysentri disorder causing your lungs to contract too much , it is in no way related to the fact that you have been doing it for 7 days!! i mean 7 days mate! come on , if in 3 months you still have the 40 sec problem , post but 7 days , dont worry youll start to progress in no time!
