I understand Asics are a good quality brand so I think I'll go with those. I'm just not sure which type. Here's some info about my needs-

I think I have normal feet, they don't turn excessively inwards or outwards; maybe slightly inwards.
I prefer to run on grass as it's a softer surface but it's not always possible due to the weather so I'll have to run on pavement at times.
I'll be doing sprints mainly but I'll want to add in some long distance running once or twice a week.
I want to spend about £60- £100

Personally though I would go to a proper running shop to have your feet properly tested.

Exactly as will8801 says get down a pure runners shop and get your feet measure and your running style checked on a machine. Make sure the running shop has the equipment to analyse this.

My preference is for Brooks Radius 7 (latest version). I've only been running for a year love it. It's never to late to start in fact I think I'll go for a run now (not!). Tomorrow morning about 4.30 though, another marathon only 3 months away.
