Boring fight between Cote and Almeida. Think Cote has nicked it though

Glad that Cote got that, had money on him. They both seemed too wary of each others strengths and therefore backed off a little too much. Lets face it though, Cote has nothing on Silva if that was for number 1 contender Bring on Rampage vs Griffin, i cant fcking wait for this

Yes!! that was quality stuff by Forrest Griffin, Rampage looked lacklustre after the 1st round. Forrest definitely had a 10-8 in the second round, third was quiet but 10-9 to Forrest, fourth i had for Rampage and fifth was close, gave it to forrest though: 48-46 Forrest Griffin i had it. I kept imagining that Rampage was just going to connect with a left counter and KO Griffin like he did against Liddell I believe Machida is next for Griffin, one i will be going to watch if its in USA.

wtf was up with the ref standing that one really bloody fight? There were still punches being thrown... I thought he stood them up because he was ending it due to all the blood

I agree that Forrest was the rightful winner, but does some of this scoring seem a little strange to you? Adalaide Byrd scored the fight 48-46. He gave 4 and 5 to Jackson and Griffin 1, 2, and 3. Nelson Hamilton had it 48-46, with 1 and 4 for Jackson, and Griffin getting 2 10-8. Roy Silbert had it 49-46 with only round 4 for Jackson. How did Silbert and Byrd not give the first round to Rampage when he scored that knockdown?

Page Vs Silva i reckon and the Iceman will get a shot at griffin inbetween. The majority on the US board are going mental saying Page got robbed, they must have **** in their eyes. Rampage clearly took him lightly, hes had 9 months to prepare and looked like **** compared to what hes usually like. Dissapointing.

I think Griffin vs Liddell is not too far away. I'm sure this is the result Dana White wanted, as he'd love nothing more than to get Chuck the light heavyweight title back. That would mean pots of cash due to the Iceman's extraordinary popularity. Rampage seems to be Chucks bogey fighter, and I'd say Dana feels that he'd have a better chance at regaining the title if he fought Griffin.

ORIGINAL: AK so whats next for rampage do you reckon JBRSS? i really wanted him to win!! I agree with Ghostman, a fight with Wanderlei Silva would be his best bet and a fight that i think he will lose. Liddell could possibly be in with a shot after Rashad Evans simply because he is a golden boy but Machida is supposed to be next according to some sources. How can the americans say Rampage was robbed, look at his reaction after the fight hardly any celebration. Its because most of them had money on him i reckon.

Griffin would probably beat Liddell, he is similar style to Jardine but has better heart and chin. Griffin would just throw the leg kick often, weave in and out with his punchs and go to takedown Liddell

Arrrrgh! Someone post a link!
If you can heap your winnings, and risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss, and lose, and start again at your beginnings, and never breathe a word of your loss; Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And, which is more, you'll be a Man, my son

So who do you think could beat Griffin in the light heavy division at the moment?

I think if Wanderlei Silva shows the aggression like he did against Jardine he would pose problems for Griffin. Machida is always difficult, no-one has figured him out as of yet and that would be a great fight to watch. Maybe Thiago Silva too would be a war to watch him fight Griffin
