what is the best way to maintain my cvfitness?
the problem i have is i cant run due to an knee injury,i can hovever use non impact machines and have access to rowers cross trainers and stationery bikes

I'd give the rowing a miss - cross trainers and bikes are fine but both will put your knee under pressure at higher tensions - You can offset some off the pressure to your arms on a cross trainer
Ever thought about swimming? Great for CV, it's low impact and gives all muscle groups a workout.
