I'd love to say this was a video of me pulling 500lbs/227.5kg but unfortunately it's not - it's my training partner and fellow MT member Dave284 recording a new PB at just under 80kg in weight. Bastard came back from uni smashing PBs all over the place.

If he gets too many positive comments though and his ego starts to get a bit out of hand I'll post up a couple of videos of him failing a 180kg Box Squat and 100kg Behind the Neck Press

A few questions

How gay is your gym ?
In a way it's good that there are no serious trainers because we never have to wait to use the Oly bar, but the training environment is terrible and hugely uninspiring. Plus the freeweights area is tiny.

Where di your mate learn the 'Benni' roll ?
The wonders of YouTube . The 'Benni roll' seems to have had a massive effect on Dave's lifts so I'm trialling it with mine.

How much can you deadlift Nobcheese .....I mean Monkcheese ?
Previous PB was 210kg. Last session I failed to lock-out 200kg and ripped my hands to shreds attempting it.

Seriously though , great lift

Really helps me to lean back at the start of the lift. 42.5kg to go.
