CNP Pro Peptide
-
08 July 2008 18:22
I finally opened my first bag of Pro Peptide last night and I will be taking 2 scoops with water every night as my final meal. Must say I was very impressed with the taste considering its mixed with water, its chocolate flavour. Ill let you know what I think of the product after a few weeks. Anyone else use it and what do you think.

Yes mate, have recently started using it myself pre-bed. Taste (chocolate malt) is good and more importantly it is a high quality product.
ORIGINAL: jango I was on the crapper when I heard the titanic song playing, and it was then that I started to have my doubts about our future.

Pro-Peptide outstanding product and best used as a pre-bed supplement. The malt choc is extremely tasty when you add and blend a teaspoon of peanut butter in it. at the moment im using 1 scoop Pro-Peptide with 1 scoop of unflavoured casein. Works a treat.

Just had my 2nd one of the week, went down as well as the first. Anyone tried the strawberry and vanilla flavours, what are they like compared to choc.

Vanilla is very nice for a vanilla. With peanut butter and banana makes a gorgeous inbetween meals snack. Strawberry, I think that's ok off the top of my head....but it's been over a yr since I've had any.

Pro-Pep Vanilla tastes like sh*t if you ask me. BUT, one of the best pre-bed shakes money can buy and work out kool if you throw a spoon of peanut butter in it... I'm giving Reflex's Peptide Fusion a go at the minute, doesn't mix great but does the trick and tastes pretty good in Banana..

Does anyone use pro peptide as protein shakes throughout the day, i.e 1 in the morning, 1 post work out and 1 before bed like you do with other proteins, or is it more of a pre bed shake?

The vanilla is the best-tasting vanilla of any protein powder - even beats BSN's Syntha-6 for flavour. At least, that's what my customers tell me. I don't drink the Syntha so can't compare them. Pro-Pep all the way especially in the 5lb value bags.

I sometimes do - not now, but last month I was having 1 for breakfast with some carbs and fruit, then inbetween meals. Made eating very quick and easy, so I just had to cook lunch and dinner.

I use about 3/4 of a scoop in a morning with my eggs and oats. Then I use 1.5 scoops before bed just mixed in water. So thats a total of 2 and a 1/4 scoops a day for me. I use the Pro-Recover PWO which is fast whey and carbs blend in a 2-1 ratio. Choc and Vanilla taste best to me. Strawberry isn't to bad. I must try the peanut butter thing soon.
