Make sure Evolution at Pear Mill in Manchester is on the list - Paul Booth and John Hodgson's new gym. It has everything conceivable for bodybuilders and looks like a million dollars (well, it probably cost near that as well ).

Adlington Barbell has to be up there somewhere, best place I've ever trained by far.

ORIGINAL: eagleman Muscleworks Bethnal Green inspirational, loads of eqipment and sav the owner is a top bloke Sav has 6 now, doesn't he? Can we add Monster Gym (near Bedford?), and Dorian's Temple Gym in Birningham (now owned by Simon Fan?) to the list. And the Ministry of Muscle in the Kent direction maybe? They even welcome those strange powerlifting types in there.

Pear Mill fell through mate, more`s the pity as it was just round the corner from me. I think he`s ended up in Rochdale now. Edit Nine Pack Just a quick bit of shameless self promotion Me & John Hodgson have finally got our new gym open in Rochdale (Castleton) after two years of planning, haemorrhaging money & fighting council red tape. We have put together what we consider to be the best independent club in the North of England (or maybe just the northern hemisphere ) so pop along if you are in the area. Check out Evolution Gym Rochdale on google & you'll find it. All brand new Hammer Strength & Life Fitness kit, ladies only section, studio (with pole dancing classes) protein bar & coffee shop, expert advice & a brilliant atmosphere.
