Breakfast. - 10 July 2008 09:39
hi i am currently on a cut.. but i start work ridiculously early.. i get up about 6.50 each morning but i dont eat anything normally until im at work and thats usually a cereal bar or an apple or sometimes cereals at about 7.45-8ish and nothing big until around 10ish usually a chicken and ham brown baugette or something like that. even though i am on a cut and watch the calories alot am i doing things wrong by waking up at this time and not eating something till about 8?? would i be better off eating when i wake???

Most people will advise to eat not long after you wake. Although a lot of people do fasted cardio in the mornings on a cut, so I don't really know how it works.

If you do want something at home, just make a shake and down it.

When I'm not doing fasted cardio, I make a shake with oats, whey and peanut butter. Quick blend and it's done in 2 mins.

the solution is to prep all your food the day before. that way it is ready and dead quick to do. on a cut you want to keep your metabolism as fast as possible, so not eating for a few hours after you get up is not going to help, your body will just slow down. it is called breakfast for a reason!

also, then have a sarnie is not the best, bread is pretty crap. you should have a tupperware with chicken rice and broccoli or something similar ready to go too.
