unfuled cardio or? - 12 July 2008 15:09
i have been taking half a serving of dynox before my unfuled cardio, just looked and it contains more sugars that i thort it would.
would this drastically lower the effect of unfuled cardio mainly because i am taking in like 25cals or dosent it matter what so ever because i would burn them of in the first min and then would carry on like normal unfuled cardio? or am i missing something?

Drop the drink either have nothing or if you need something for energy have caffiene and if you're worried about muscle loss have BCAA pills/powder and/or glutamine before hand.

3g of sugar will make absolutely no difference at all.

3g of sugar is around 10-15 calories. No it does not matter.

Your doing the "worse of both" IMO.

Unfueled could have benifits due to releasing/mobilising fat if i recall correctly, but by drinking something sugary your raising insulin and preventing this.
Then your also failing to fuel it, so you prob wont see a performance increase or anything that a meal/food may give you and your still probably hungry sat on the bike.

Either drink water, perhaps a black coffee plain before also.
Or eat/drink a decent whey+carb shake or some kind.

ALL IMO
My posts are all my opinion and based on current knowledge/understanding.

Why have it anyway? Caffeine would do the same job without hindering your fat loss.

mainly coz i cant be bothered to get a caffeine only product this seemed very convent as i already had it. might need to invest in getting some simple caffeine product. what would be best guessing something simple like caffeine pills from mp, dont want to fiddle around with powder to easy to over dose on it.

Powder is a hell of a lot cheaper but caps will work just fine yeah. You can get your self a cheap set of digital scales though for making sure dosage is correct.

100 caps at 200mg each = 20 grams for a £4.49

or

100g for £3.29
