James' Cutting V Bulking diet - 12 July 2008 18:10
Hi,

Has anyone used James' Cutting Vs Bulking diet for trying to lose fat while gaining muscle? I know the two are supposed to be impossible to do at once so i was interested in hearing if anyone had tried it or similar diets?

Im trying to lean out at the moment while maintaining or gaining a small amount of muscle (will also be using a light designer steroid course to help me) and am thinking of cutting carbs to similar amounts in the diet. I am starting to hold onto alot of fat around my love handles and want to get rid of it as it really fcuks up my physique.

thanks
Lobo

Whats your stats? As you lose body fat, you will automatically look bigger without necessairly putting on muscle.

Not sure about James cutting diet but Id suggest getting in carbs for breakfast, pre workout meal and post post workout meal. Also add some fast digesting carbs to a post workout shake as well as eating some carbs post cardio.

All other meals should contain portein and carbs. Non training days go low carb.

Remember the meal plan is an educational tool - it needs to be adapted to suit you.

Man its not the first time he's been asked, your gonna need to add some info to your avatar i think.
Your peers hate change. It makes them insecure, because they suddenly discover there’s more to you than they were probably willing to admit. They fear that you may actually achieve your goal.

I like some info on your diet and training to get as cut as you are in the avatar, that would be a good thing to put into your site.

That will be there within the next few days when I get some time. Keep checking back.

Hopefully will build it up over time.

Thanks very much for your replies lads. I think il try that for carbs Lobo and see how it goes.

James - In one of your cutting diets you have your cutting smoothie late on in the day - is it ok to have carbs such as oats this late if on a cut? I know and realize everones different but its just that most advocate having very little if any carbs that late on if on a cut.

thanks.

It depends how late and what time you retire.

Yes carbs are ok right up til the last hour before sleep
