Cardiff Muscle's New Cycle Log
-
14 July 2008 14:30
Howdy bro's. I've decided that I’m going to log the process of my current Tren & Sust cycle for those to read. I’m doing this not just as a progress of my own usage and training, but hopefully note down any change’s, feelings and any other points of notice worth writing down for all to read and perhaps learn from. Now this won’t be a typical log, noting weights moved, reps, calories in/out and the rest, mainly as I find those kinds of logs dull and un inspiring. Instead I will use this more as a diary that shows body composition changes. Aside from thoughts I will also use this as a place to post progress pictures for other members to look at and comment on along the way. What I’ll do on this first post though is give a bit of a back ground to my history and what I hope to achieve. I must also point out that this is the end of my first week of a 20 week cycle but more of that to come. So to start with, I’ve been training for 6 years in total. 4 were spent mainly around rugby training as I was a back rower. However the last 2 I’ve focused on body building as a staple as I love the discipline and accomplishments I provides. I won’t get into to cycle history, but I have used a wide variation of compounds, mainly Test, Eq and Deca. On a side not for all the new guys getting into this I would advise just the one compound to begin with, no need to rush into a mix until you know how each one effect’s you. I would also like to add that I was well over 25 before I even contemplated using AAS. Anyway my current cycle is as follows: First week: 1200Mg Sust + 800mg Tren + 50mg Dbol (This is a front load week) Following this and for the next 16 weeks the cycle will be: 600mg Sust + 400mg Tren However I will be using 50mg Dbol for another 3 weeks. I have just come to the end of my frontload week and have the following to report. Firstly this is the first time I have used Tren. Initially I had heard a mixture of reports ranging from the dreaded Tren cough, to the fact that guys after shooting the stuff had incredible after pain soreness resulting in them being unable to train. From my own experience’s I can only put this down to the injection method of the individual and not the compound itself. I received no Tren cough fit and although there was some soreness near the injection site (I have been training natural for 13months now) it in no way prevented me from training! As a guide to the bro’s experiencing the above two traits I will list my injection method in a hope to alleviate some of the difficulties you are receiving. i) I massage the area of insertion ( I will point out that I always inject in my quad) ii) I swab both the vial and the area to be injected. iii) With a green pin, I attached, measure the desired amount to be withdrawn with air iv) Insert the needle into the vial, push down until all the air has been removed, turn the vial upside down and then draw to just over the desired amount. v) Swap needles from green to blue and then push out the air bubble and just a little bit of the compound so that it runs down the length of the needle vi) With a quick motion push the needle into the site, then slowly insert the remainder into the muscle until there is at least 2-3 mm left showing. vii) After aspirating and waiting to see if there is any blood in the syringe I S-L-O-W-L-Y press the plunger down. (This can take me up to two minutes. I believe a lot of lumps that bro’s develop is from banging the plunger down as quickly as possible!) viii) Once the syringe is empty I will leave the needle in place for a few moments for maximum absorption. ix) Quickly pull the needle out, swab an cover I must admit though I rarely have to cover the hole afterwards and I very rarely have any traces of blood come out of the site and I put this down to the method above. Remember there is no need to rush this. With a week in the only thing I have to mention of note is I have started to experience increased sweating as I feel slightly warmer, I believe this to be a side of the tren. Also I feel a little bit more defined overall. I have to state here that I am very susceptible to AAS and find that things start to work a little quicker than most people I know. However this at the moment is the start of the log and the end of week one. I intend to update this on every Monday. Before I started the cycle and as previously mentioned I had been training for 13months natural. At 6’3 I sat at 17stone 2lbs. However two weeks leading up to my cycle I engaged in a “priming protocol†that was developed by a chap that went by the name of “Warriorâ€. I forget the name of the board he was on, but that guy is an oracle of knowledge. Effectively I went on a cut to prepare my body for the inception of AAS and as the cycle started a month later I was sat at a lean 15 stone 12lbs. I hope to gain at least 10lbs of solid lean mass. My diet with be a restricted one of around 300g carbs/ 400g Protein / 70g of Fat. Main sources of carbs will be from Brown rice and oat meal. Protein will mainly come from white fish with Omega 3 supplements following up the fats. This is just a rough guide that I will change through out the cycle. Sorry for the length of the post but wanted to cover everything off before I begun. Stick around and let’s see how things go from here ïŠ Cardiff Muscle

Hi there guys. I know that this is now a week late but had a bit of bad news that I have only just cone to terms with hence the tardyness of the update. However this is resolved and it's back to work. To recap this a log of feelings and changes whilst engaging on my current Tren & Sust cycle. Current am now starting the 4th week of a 20week cycle and have much to post. Firstly as Im a positive person by nature lets get the negatives out the way to focus on the good things. The main negative that I have for this cycle is current the side's Im having that I believe are from the Tren. Just to point out, the side effects are not unmanagable. No, this is my first time running Tren however so it's just something new to deal with. The two side effect's that are annoying me are the "trensomnia" and the sweating. Unfortunatley I could'nt have picked a worse time to start running Tren, with our current climate the way it is in the west country. It isn't unbareable but is annoying due to the fact that I can break into an almight sweat fit doing the least manually laboured of things! Also I work in an office, so it's business dress therefore no jean's or t-shirts for me during the week. The insomnia is the worst part though. I mean Im not in a position where Im not sleeping, just the amount of time it takes to drop off can take an hour or sometimes 3 which can drive me crazy sometimes. Coupled with the fact that Im constantly hot as well it kind definatley wind me up. However that is the only bad points of my current cycle, which means I can move on to the good things! My main focus with the cycle was to gain lbm, not just mass. I can bulk without gear quite easily but obviously I gain a 3-1 ration of FAT to LBM, which isn't what Im currently looking for. The purpose of this cycle to increase in maybe 5-10 solid pounds. Im eating a maintenance diet that would have kept me at my originally body weight of 17st before I started this cycle. As I previously mentioned I went through a "priming" month leading up to the cycle for maximum uptake which saw me drop to 15.5 stone. My diet is measured strictly around the carb & fat elements and looser with the protien, but this is always high. This has resulted in me looking bigger than I was when I was 17st, but currently supporting a weight of just over 16stone which is a major plus! I started with course with 50mgs of D-bol ED as well for three weeks and this finished Sunday, so hopefully over the next few weeks, I should see some water retention disappear and hopefully a little drop in body weight, which might take me again to under 16stone which again means my plan is working. Bascially I want to look a lot heavier than I actually am. With this being the forth week there are improvements in weight by around 20-30kg in all lifts which is excellent. Mainly around the squat and bench press. I don't have a target weight to be able to press. However by the end of the cycle I want to be able to bench 3 20kg plates a side for 4-6reps and 4/5 20kg plates aside for squat with proper form. Somethinng I don't see impossible as I can easily do these lifts with 3quarters of the target already. I will leave it at this as I could easily waffle on some more. Will be updating again next week. cheers

RE: Cardiff Muscle's New Cycle Log

Welcome to the next instalment of my progress journal! As stated this isn't you average journal, as I’m only logging the changes that I think will be of interest to readers, not "I’m up 5 kilo's on my lift with a 7lb gain in weight". As stated previously the goal's of this log is to gain quality weight, so not an all out bulker and I am definitely achieving this. Currently body weight is up a few pounds, but more importantly development of muscle seems more pronounced than my last cycle. This consisted of a pure mass course of Test and Deca. The gains imo are completely different! With the test Enth and deca, the gains in body weight were immense, although the overall look was definitely bloated and smooth. Not something I really liked in reflection. This cycle is Sust and Tren and the difference is unbelievable. I knew what to expect with the Sust, but the Tren has to be far and above my favourite compound to date. The gain's are leaner, infact I appear a lot more vascular then when I started. Also the strength gains are a lot better as well, I’m finding significant increase's in all weights. Another added bonus is that I’m finding that cardio isn’t as much as a struggle. When on previously I battled to get 15minutes at a time out. With this mix I can still keep to the 30min post workout.....although the amount of sweating that takes place is crazy. A lot have people have mentioned that tren is an absolute nightmare in regards to aggression and temper. I luckily seem to no suffer from this; however I do find the whole "roid rage" bit down to the individual. I would say my intensity has risen but anger has not! I put this down to me being a pretty laid back guy anyway. I think Papa Lazarou stated that if your and ass hole to begin with, then Tren will amplify this. I totally agree. If I do find my patience thinning, I just remind myself that I’m "on" and that the aggression is all in my head, which works for me. Overall very satisfied at week 5 of this cycle and I can see Tren being a base compound of all future course's I do!
