Just wrote a long post and the bugger logged me off Baby Doc's
Can't beat kids - I was never going to have any and now I've got three. We're all like best mates, but the respect for us parents is solid - no means no! Sometimes it hits me like a ton of bricks that I've got three, coz I still feel like a teenager myself Eldest is exactly same as me in respect of interests, etc - she's 15 this year - will be taking her to gigs before long

One of the best chest excersises imo, nothing gets full range of movement like a nice deep flye. Was washing down my legs after work today and realised how sore my calves were to touch.
Wat a glorious day and back in gym shorts on site woohoo, nows the time of year that all the leg work was worth it

Lovely end to a perfect week.Finaly finished the buliding project i'm on and theyre taking me onto the next one woohoo, no need to find more work.Shot into camden fri after work and picked up two harrington jackets ,one in dark blue and one in claret both with tarten linning. Also dropped into londons only independent punk record store and added another cd to my collection.
Went for a lovely long walk today before fixing my fence that the younger dog had succesfully smashed to bits. What a glorious sunny day.

Can't beat a good bit of sunshine - if I didn't have kids the age they are now (exam age) I'd definately be off to sunnier shores. A nice small Finca somewhere off the beaten track - no need for anything large coz most of time would be spent outdoors...still, it's an idea for retirement
Good luck for tomorrows 'mega' session - expect you'll be very sore come Monday

Didn't know they still did Harrington's Stef. You don't half keep taking me back with the stuff you buy mate. Only ever had the one though - in black! And yes, of course, with the tartan lining.

They are actually getting popular again but they are hybrids with burberry check etc.Camden is my little mecca for subculture classics.Apart from online i wouldnt know where to buy punk and oi music, no one seems to stock it apart from my little punk record shop up there. Its great cause they stock all the old stuff on re-release so i'm gradually buying back all the stuff i had on vinyl that got trashed back in the wild days with beer and scratchs. To hear "mucky pup" by the exploited took me straight back to the early eighties when i had a copy. Also remember buying "blood on terraces" by the angelic upstarts from the merc up carnaby street which i recently downloaded again...was really wierd hearing that again.
Is it a sign of getting old when you start living in the past
Anyway had a great lie in and have eaten well so am nearly ready for the session.
Colin.d, give me a link to your journal mate...cant seem to find it.
Welshy i'll have a lookie at that link later...cheers me dears.

Cracking session.Sundays have to be excacuted with timing and military presicion these days otherwise the schedule go's outa the window.Got all my food done for work (kingprawn salad with mixed beans and rice in vinagrette) and roast is on the go (quorn roast which is like a huge carvable quorn sausage and delicious).
Started today with seated dips wich i hadnt done since march 24th last year.Pleased to say i matched wat i was doing then and back then i was not long off gear so thats a good sign.
BWx10/40kgx10/84kgx10 (last two werent arse to grass but got the reps)/84kgx6/84kgx6.
Supersetted these with pullups and got an extra rep on first set.Close grip-12/widegrip-4 and half/closegrip-8 (one up on last week)/closegrip-8 (again one up)Bodyweight is consistant so this means i'm progressing on wat is a weak movement for me.
Onto legs starting with ext up 1kg reps maintained.40kgx10/60kgx10/107kgx10/107kgx10.
calfraise up 1kg reps maintained at 48kgx10/88kg/10/139kgx10/139kgx10 then BW for 125 reps (five up from last week)
Squat produced 1kg up reps up 1 at 48kgx6/88kgx6/102kgx6/112x7 (one kg up and one extra rep)
Pleased with todays effort and not as tired as last week.had fruit at intervals after first half hour as per ussual.
Looking forward too a sit down now and a nice bottle of merlot whilst i do my sunday phonecall to my mum then its dr who catch up as i aint allowed to watch it whilst my partners here and shes off to start the nightshift shortly.

http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/m_1759871/tm.htm hope that helps you mate, i really dont beleive that listening to the music makes you old! im what people 30 yrs ago would have called a "Rocker" long hair bikers jacket with the denim cutoff over it but my music just makes me feel great about the times i had , people i knew and one girl ive still got a helluva soft spot for after 25 years! so you enjoy and more power to you mate. Two big memories for me are seeing The Damned perform "Smash it Up" & first gig The Stranglers done in Glasgow.
